Our Log Style Garages exterior cladding is made using a Pressure Treated Planed Rebated Weatherboard – Log Profile - 20mm finished thickness. a slower growing timber imported from Scandinavia/Northern Europe. This barrel effect weatherboard has a smooth finish and the boards slot together as opposed to overlapping each other. Hot dipped Galvanised Nails are used on the exterior.
As standard our Log Garages come with a Torch on Felt Roof, Felt Lined Walls (breathable membrane) and Double Doors on the Front Gable (7ft. wide) with Galvanized Tee Hinges, Turn Buttons and Pad-bolt. Window Panes feature Toughened (safety) Glass. Our Wooden Garages can be modified in a number of ways however including; upgrades to PVC Double Glazed Opening Windows, a Box Profile Steel Roof, additional Windows and Doors and more.
A practical and valuable addition to your house our Timber Garages can be constructed with the minimum of disruption. Also, as timber is a traditional building material, our Garages are easy on the eye and fit naturally into the landscape. OSB 3 (Oriented Strand Board) is used on floor and roof. This product is used extensively by the construction industry and is certified by Irish Board of Agrement.
Felt Lined Walls - Breathable Membrane.
Torch Felt Roof.
Double Doors on Gable - 7' or 8' wide.
Window Panes: Toughened Glass - 24” x 24”.
Galvanised Tee Hinges and Pad Bolt.
Hot Dipped Galvanised Nails are used on the exterior.
