DuraPost Aluminium Gate Kit

DuraPost Aluminium Gate Kit is designed to adjust to fit any outdoor space. With an adjustable width and height the frame can be adapted on site which saves time and effort during installation. 

This stylish aluminium gate is designed to work well with both DuraPost Fencing Systems, as well as any other standard fencing. Maintenance-free, this gate is strong, secure and comes in four powder-coated finishes, Anthracite grey, Olive Grey, Black & Sepia Brown. 

What’s Included in the Kit?

Lightweight yet incredibly strong for long-lasting durability. Made from powder-coated aluminium which means no rusting or painting required. 25 Year Manufacturer Guarantee. 

The maximum width is 1.188m, and can be reduced by cutting the top and bottom cross-rail down to the desired size with a chop-saw that has a new sharp metal-cutting blade.

The maximum height is 1.770m, and can be reduced in increments of 150mm down to a minimum of 1.32m.

Panels are made from the same material as Durapost Prima/Gravel boards and come with an up to 15 Year Manufacturer Guarantee. It is crafted with 70% recycled material that has high UV stability to preserve colour. The material is extruded with a full through colour also so if the board is damaged or scratched during it's lifetime, the area is not clearly visible and will not cause a detrimental effect to the board. 

Boards can be cut to size as needed. Boards are double sided with a textured grain finish. Available in 4 colours, Anthracite Grey, Olive Grey or Sepia Brown.

A secure locking system with a robust hinge set for reliable performance. The gate hardware kit comprises of;

• Hinges: 2 x 165mm x 60mm made from Grade 304 3mm stainless steel lift off hinge. With no visible fixings when closed and anti-theft orientation, they are safe and secure.
• Gate handle: 72mm narrow style back plate handle made from high-quality stainless steel. With a cylinder that can be keyed to your house key.
• Lock: 72mm centre, 60mm back set lock. The catch direction can be easily switched simply by pulling out the catch and twisting. Designed to be made-to-measure on site.
• Corner bracket: The corner brackets are an integral part of the DuraPost Aluminium Gate, providing a rigid structure and a solid steel fixing point for the corners.
• Steel packer: Steel core ensures that corners remain square and provides a very strong point for hinges to be fixed/hang.
• Plastic packer: The steel packer and the plastic packer work together with the steel corner bracket to provide accurate fixing points.

Gate Posts and U-Channels 

Gate posts are not included in the gate kit but 2 are required. We recommend that you use Durapost Gate Posts but you can also use timber posts.

If using DuraPost gate posts and you plan to join the gate onto a section(s) of fencing then a DuraPost U-Channel(s) will also be required.

• The DuraPost Gate Post is a smooth square box section of powder-coated cold rolled galvanised steel. 

• The DuraPost U-Channel is a 'U' profile length of powder-coated cold rolled galvanised steel with screw holes along one edge to fix timber or composite fence panels and boards. It can be used to fix panels and boards to Durapost steel Gate Posts, End Posts, Corner Posts or walls.

DuraPost powder-coated Gate Posts and U-Channels also come with an up to 25 Year Manufacturer Guarantee (guarantee is against structural failure due to corrosion subject to normal maintenance and proper use). 

Available in Black, Anthracite grey, Sepia Brown or Olive Grey finishes to complement your Aluinium Gate Frame. 

Sustainability

DuraPost Gate Frame is  made from recycled materials and 100% recyclable at the end of their long life.

Aluminium Gate Frame weighs only 26kg.
